David Paul Seymour is a Minneapolis-based freelance artist and illustrator, mostly doing record cover, t-shirt and poster artwork for rock and roll bands. David has done work for some of the biggest names in independent label Rock and Metal; notably Agnostic Front, The Sword, Red Fang, Graveyard, Earthless, Kadavar, Church of Misery, Lord Dying and Ides of Gemini. David has also been commissioned by numerous noteworthy companies for apparel design, craft beer packaging, event posters and skateboards.
Growing up in the ’80s in the DIY punk and metal scenes, David made lots of friends drawing cheaply xeroxed handbill flyers for bands and venues in his hometown of Biloxi, MS. After spending most of his adult life working in the field of architecture, David has finally returned to freelance illustrating; coupling his lifelong passion for music and drawing into a successful business he dubs “The Art of Rock & Roll”. In just 15 short months, David has gone from unknown to one of the best artists in the genres he loves. Posters and art prints of his work continuously sell out and his client list reads like a who’s-who of Stoner Rock and Doom heavyweights.
David’s approach is old school; highly detailed, hand-drawn pen-and-ink originals converted into fully usable works of art at home in a digital world.
Elephant Tree producer Riley listening back to some of their ideas for The Planet of DOOM! Word is, they’re experimenting with one of those creepy harmoniums. We can’t wait to hear what they come up!
With any project of this size and scope, it’s not uncommon to see a few folks drop out. With the new talent we’re announcing tonight, it’s become clear to us that these changes were pre-destined. FATE brought this creative FORCE together. A group that’s aligned for a singular goal: to make one of the most kickass animated films the world has ever seen.
Elephant Tree are a relatively new band who cut their teeth in the London metal scene. While their style is difficult to classify under any one particular sub-genre of Metal, it has been most likened to Doom Metal and Stoner Rock, however many people have their own classifications ranging from Blues to Prog. They’re signed to Magnetic Eye Records, who released their killer self-titled debut album this past September.

Magnetic Eye Records artist DOMKRAFT, the Swedish trio whose name combines the Swedish “DOM” for judgement and “KRAFT” for power, blasts forth towering dirges of annihilating doom, mindbending psychedelia, and hypnotic minimalism.
Wielding a soundscape of obeliskian riff-majesty, DOMKRAFT discharge layer upon layer of crushing fury, weaving through the wormhole punctures of spacetime in defiance of beginnings and endings.
From Loop to Sleep, Sabbath to Neu!, Hawkwind to Neurosis, and Swans to Spacemen 3, the DOMKRAFT sound is an unsettling mix of grinding riffs, blistering power, and inexorable motion.
